The catechins in dark tea can inhibit fatty acid synthase (FAS), glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH), sterol coenzyme A desaturase 1 (SCD1), 6-phosphate glucose dehydrogenase (G6PD).
